Rewind 6: Jd's 4th Month Birthday

Let me post first the pictures and reminisce the memories during JD's 4th month.

with mama
You don't know how to smile at camera yet. And look at you, your eyes are wide open, and look at me, ang taba taba pa ni mama. You also showed and amused us when you are sucking your feet. What's in there na gusto mo nag aacrobat ka baby? nagsawa ka na ba sa thumb and for a change you have your feet naman? Hehehe, cute baby!

And here baby, in the following pictures, you are able to roll around, ooops, but find difficulty getting back. We are helping you pa para tumihaya, you want to dumapa always, but get irritated when you can;t make tihaya.

forcing herself sa pagdapa

yesss finally

you hardly lift your head

but still can look at the camera hehe

And I love seeing you here in below pictures. You smile a lot more. You always show your beautiful smile and beautiful eyes. Anak, you get that eyes from your daddy j, and I am thankful na namana mo yan sa kanya coz he has smiling eyes. Kung kay mama mo nakuha, hmmm. you will still look beautiful ;)

Who will never be amused of your smile baby? You are so cute and adorable. At 4 months, you coos a lot, talk to anything you see, yell, make a lot of movement, dances your feet and roll over.

And at your 4 months baby - you had your rashes for the first time. Doc V prescribed to use the Triderm to treat it. Naaawa ako every time I see your bottom, it's reddish and you are crying in pain, lalo na kapag nagagasgas sya ng diaper mo.

Thank you baby for making us happy. You are really a very priceless and wonderful gift from Him!

Rewind 5: JD's 3rd Month

I am on the 3rd month!
Whew, 8 more - oh em, pressure itey, next month is her birthday na. Hmmm, wait wait, good idea, I need to finish this rewind before she turns 1... And before that happens, let's get the ball rolling....

See  how JD looks like JD in these pictures..
cake and ice cream! tabachingching cute cute!
Sunday Church Time
Dalaga na she here.. Hairband doesn't fit her yet, excited lang ako haha.. She looks mature tuloy
she's already dumadapa at 3months

Pictures show na nakakadapa na sya by that time.Ilang kilo nga ba sya nito nun, hhhmm lemme think.... she weighed 5.7 kgs. and measured 62cm. When she was 2 months she was 4.9 kgs. and 57cm.

I remember pa pala, we started to give her solid food, a small amount lang naman. A pinch of cake na isinubo ko sa kanya, gusto din naman nya matikman handa nya di ba?

Kami pala ang laughing haha, not JD :D

Finally Dadadade!

I am happy happy happy!
Finally! Today, she's uttering dadadade (for daddy)

She's 11 months now, and I am very happy to hear her saying and reiterating words dadadade and mamamama, with nananana.... To the max uber! Today, Thursday at 6:45am. O di ba bongga! Complete package! Pagsagot nila ng phone, I can clearly hear the dadadade....

I am currently talking to JD right now - she's in Tiaong with my parents. Sulit kasi I'm calling her because of JD, many times a day.

Hay, I just can't explain my happiness. Napapatawa ako ng malakas kanina over the phone, kahiya. Spare me, I just can't stop myself. Super daldal na nya ngayon. And smart I must say.

See you tomorrow our dear princess! We love you so much!

Emoticons?

:)

And I still can't add emoticons. Have inserted some html codes from a blog but it didn't work! :(( I want some circles moving here. To make it more lively!

Fuschia or Pink?

I am sleepy....zzzzzzzz.....
And para naman mabuhay ang dugo ko, I decided to blog again. mas feel kong ina update itong blog nato kesa sa personal ko na I Just Opine. I love to document something about my baby, parang hindi ako mauubusan ng isusulat, sadly though, I sometimes find hard time to write, kapag feel ko lang din. Ang dami kong dapat na ikwento chos! Ako lang naman ay isang simpleng proud mom of our baby JD. Same with her Daddy J, proud na proud of his little Princess, although he has not seen, hugged, kissed and cuddled our baby :( He is in Dubai kasi for work. And malapit na kaming makumpleto! Moment itey mga mamas kasi always kami lang ni JD sa pictures, ngayon happy family na! SSSSOON!

Ito kami oh

Same studio yan - sa SM San Pablo, sa Picture City. Dyan sa second photo, my first choice was Great Image, dun dapat kami papa picture, para din magamit na yung picture sa birthday invitation nya, kso parang ayaw, kasi we waited for more than an hour, wala daw kasi yung photographer. kaya we had it in Picture City instead, will make bawi na lang when daddy J is here para mas maganda.

And nga pala, on the second picture again, one of the few people I bumped with, made comment lang about JD's headband, sabi nya "magagalit ang anak mo paglaki nya kasi saasbihin nya, bakit mo sya sinuotan ng malaking flower sa ulo?" Oh haler! nice ng comment ano! pagbigyan! boy kasi anak nya eh kaya di pa nya ma-aappreciate ang Pretty Little Things for Baby Girls!

Ma-ipost na lang din itong candid moment namin while at the studio, si Kuya photographer kasi, binigay lahat sa akin ang copy nung pictures saved in my usb. So para may use naman, why not post here!

"Hello Daddy" - that's why jd's hand is on her ear..
That's it! Hindi ako masyadong mahilig sa picture.......

Time to go back to work, commercial lang naman to eh, ice - breaker, instead of enduring my eyes popping, I used my mind instead. Nicer though!

One Cute Sunday

It's Sunday and church day! Every time I'm home with JD I make sure to bring her to the church, and introduce to her the importance of attending a mass (although she sleeps most of the time during the mass). I normally go to BVMQW or Blessed Virgin Mary Queen of the World Parish church in Lusacan Tiaong, Quezon. Mas gusto ko kasi yung sanay ako sa pinupuntahan ko, parang sa malls lang or supermarket, I hate the first time visit (sa mall lang ha) kasi nahihilo ako kahahanap ng kailangan ko bilhin -  opposing with the church, of course iba naman syempre spelling ng church sa market :) and I love the first visits when it comes to church, you can make wishes sabi nila. (hmmm, e same naman with the church we used to visit di ba?)

Anyway, Sunday, February 24th, I attended the mass at St. John the Baptist church in Tiaong, Quezon, nakasimba na din ako dito many times. The reason why I was there is to meet one of my closest friends Imee and her son with Joseph. Medyo late na nga kami eh, napapsarap kasi mag enjoy ng mornings with baby JD kaya kahit anong aga gumisingit always turns out late sa mass.

As usual, JD fell asleep during the celebration, ganyan sya eh, and magigising na lang kapag end na ang mass when the priest says "Tapos na ang ating pagdiriwang humayo kayo at magpakapayapa" and clap ang attendees, so JD on her sleep, bigla na lang yang papalakpak din, cute no, parang yung napanood kong video na gangnam style, natutulog yung baby and when her daddy plays the gangnam which happens to be her favorite, bigla na sya nagkakawag and dances with the music. Tawa ako ng tawa, ang cute cute, ilang beses ko tuloy pinanood.

Going back.... Nung matapos na mass, I was looking at the priest kasi magpapabless kami, kaso super laki ng simbahan, so parang I wasn't able to chase him, lalo pa nakasalubong ko na yung ime-meet namin ni baby JD. Yey! Sina Imee Joseph and baby Kyle, finally after 6 months, we've met. Saglit nga lang eh. After the mass, nakihitch kami sa van nila going to Puregold, I was about to but Enfapro for JD kasi bitin na sya ng supply. So sabay kami sa kanila, and wala namang Enfapro (regular) dun, we followed na lang our friends.

And while at the counter, naisipan ni Joseph na idocument kami, kaya heto, effort ang smiles ng mga mommy, ang babies? Deadma at all..

Hindi pala deadma, they were looking at the camera pala, and JD is so shy, ngibit naman sya eh. And it was so cute to see them holding hands, Nahuli si JD, pero meron silang shot na Kyle was holding JD's hand too.

JD is 6 months older than Kyle, but Kyle is bigger than JD. Boy - so it's normal to be that way.

Hindi kami nagkakwentuhan, time limit, we had to separate our ways na after buying what we need. So hoping to have lots of times together again, with new mommy Anna Salonga too.

Meantime, dahil night shift ako and anong petsa na - alas 12:11 na, di pa ko natutulog, matutulog muna ako......

JD Loves Avent

In my self-hosted blog I Just Opine, I wrote how JD loves the Avent feeding bottle (plus ako, I love it too hehe).

I really did not know what Avent is. The first time I saw it was when I was baby-shopping at Baby Company in SM San Pablo wherein my friend Alfred was assisting me (he was the Manager then). When I was looking at the feeding bottles' section, napatapat ako sa Avent, not so interested though, but Alfred handed the box to me and out of curiosity I checked on it. It's worth Php3k (oh em, for 4 pcs bottles, 1 bottle brush 2 extra nipples and 1 pacifier??? x_x) , and the miser me hastily gave back the box to Alfred, even smashed it to Alfred sa sobrang mahal.

As I was getting closer to my due date, I saw my friends' babies are using the Avent feeding bottles, that started my interest to buy a starter set for JD. I kept on coming back at SM Hypermarket in Mall of Asia to see the Avent bottles, (sa pagpunta punta ko lang dun nadadagdagan ang pagkagusto ko sa bagay na yaon). Until one day, as I passed by again at that store, I saw that Avent was on 20% off. That was the time that I finally purchased one set for JD.
photo from Avent website
She uses these all 4, but never the pacifier. She doesn't want it no matter how many times I attempted to put it on her mouth.

Her daddy bought another 2 (the honey tint 11ml each costed 60AED - convert it to peso that will cost Php660, find it in store here in the Philippines, I saw it costs Php1k+ each) a pink toddler baby mug and an avent blue bag in Dubai, cheaper compare here in the Philippines.

Using this brand has advantages, that is why it is way expensive compare to other brands. But still, I prefer it as it helps prevent and minimizes colic and any other thing that causes baby to cry. Do visit the Avent site for more information.

We are AVENT fan.

What's Next After Giving Birth?

This applies to all working mothers.

I wanted to update my status the a month after I gave birth and when I returned for work. This includes updating my tax status (from M - married to M1 -married with 1 dependent) and the government statutory - PHILHEALTH, HDMF and SSS.

This is my first baby, and I had no idea as to the whats and hows of updating my record. I went to our  HR's office and asked them about. First thing that I need to do and the most important requirement for those mentioned above is to get an NSO copy of JD's birth certificate. To do this, I opted to get the NSO copy at the SM Business Center in Mall of Asia (I don't want to waste my time for long queue in NSO office located in Macapagal in Pasay, it will take more than an hour because there are lots of people getting NSO copy). At the SM Business Center - I filled out the form and handed to the cashier, she told me this "Ma'am March 21, 2012 po, wala pa po ito sa NSO, 3 months po bago makuha kasi po for manual verification pa from local registrar", because I knew it beforehand, I continued getting a copy and waited for 3 long months until I received it (para kang naghihintay ng napaka espesyal na package from abroad di ba).

Worth it naman kasi a single copy that I requested was used to update my PhilHealth, HDMF and SSS status, they just need the photocopy. but for BIR, the original and photocopy are to be submitted together with the Form 2305, afterwhich, when the BIR stamped and received the form, HR will return the original copy.

Why was I so eager to update then? The year-end was about to come, and it means there will be a tax annualization! And I wanted to get back even just a small portion of the tax collected from me, tax refund!I missed it very much, kaya I was very eager to update everything. So lucky me kasi nakahabol, earlier pa nga eh, parang mga October hehe.

And came January 2013! Tada! I had a Php8k tax refund! Woot! O di ba, from all those 30%-35% tax deduction from my salary for 12 months, yun lang ang nakuha ko. But still, I was thankful for the amount I received.

In other cases though, if you think 3 months is too long and the annualization period is getting near, you have an option. This one had been done by my friend who gave birth on September 21. Her husband took charge of updating her tax status and he thought that if he waits for an NSO copy in 3 months, he will not be able to get a refund. So what he did was, the birth certificate copy from local civil registrar where his wife gave birth was used. He personally went to the NSO office in Macapagal, and have the officers signed the birth certificate copy and dry sealed. That one was the one he used in to attach in BIR Form 2305.

Medyo tyaga tyaga lang talaga. You wanted to give the benefits your children could have kaya tiis tiis and tyaga tyaga, patience baga.

Nananana....

JD will be turning 11 months on Feb21st, and before she reaches that age, she expressed or she lets us know that she has a new language, the nanananana. Before, it was mamamamama (mama :) ) and now it's nanananana.

Additionally, we also discovered that she knows how to obey us, like when we were at Greenwich SM San Pablo last Sunday, while waiting for our orders, I took JD a video while she was on the move sitting at the high chair. She was mouting saliva, and I handed her the hanky and told her "Baby pahid mo laway mo", and we were surprised to see that JD wiped her face, yey! Inay and I were surprisingly happy to see her did that way.

She was also yelling in happiness that day. Seeing her in that behavior makes me feel so happy too.

JD Wears Stuff From Zalora

And out of excitement, JD wore the stuff I shopped from Zalora on Sunday. And I so love them, I love how JD looked that day. Wearing the Celestina & Co pink headband and the Gingersnaps dress (for 18 month old), a little bigger for her age. It's okay kasi matagal na nya magagamit yun. So here she is!

Dress: Gingersnaps Gingham Ruffle Dress
Headband: Celestina & Co - Sydney
Shoes: Sugar Baby

Funny though, the second photograph, kaya ko nga sya pinakuhanan ng nakatayo para whole body as in head to toe, pero the photog cut it, hindi isinama paa hanubayan! Okay na din...

And here is the 3 generation picture..

Inay, JD and Mama Dhi

I have to wait for another item I shopped at Zalora - the Bella Belle dress, I had to return it to exchange into a size smaller. I ordered 14 and it was too big for JD, the dress could fit a 4-5 year old girl, imagine that hehe. It was my first time and I have no idea yet as to the exact sizes to buy.

I now have an idea - since I am a Gingersnaps lover, I will post JD's picture wearing them! Good idea! JD will be the model of this blog hehe..

15 February 2013

I Now Love Zalora!

Yes it's true! My first online shopping! And it was with Zalora! I placed my order yesterday February 14, 2013 - 3 items for my baby and tada! Right at this moment, February 15 - the items were delivered to me! Fortunate though that I decided to work on an extended hours, otherwise, I will not be able to receive it. And buti na lang, nadinig ko si kuya utility man asking my office mate kung alam daw ba san nakaupo ung pagdedeliveran nung items. He was unnoticed though, so I made epal, and asked "kanino yan". Then nakita ko yung box, ZALORA - I hastily said, "Akin yan! Dhina David?" - I said, then sabi nya, "opo". Then lumapit sya akin and asked me, "Bakit po hindi Dhina David yung nakalagay na name nyo (dun sa name tag na nakadikit sa cube ko?", "hala, maiden name ko kasi yun eh" and it isn't updated yet - I told myself...... So he handed me the box, pinirmahan ko yung receiving slip para may proof sila. Pero, it was mine naman talaga eh.....

I am very happy today, ay tonight pala I did not expext that it as that fast, very much satiated with their services. Kaya naman di na ako nagpatumpik tumpik at binuksan ko na ang box, para bang, someone sent me a gift and I was truly excited opening and seeing what's inside. Ganun! ganun na ganun ang peg. So heto na, ito na yung mga orders ko, kita nyo naman sa unang subok ko ng pag order, tatlo agad ang itinaya ko, no hesitation, I did not falter and did not have any quandaries na baka mamaya scam 'to or something na nagbayad ka pero di naman pala makakarating sayo, oh di ba ang sagwa, kakatakot, lalo na nowadays, na napakadaming manloloko online?... But the OPPOSITE!

I ordered for my baby; the Celestina & Co Sydney headband (Php250.00), Gingersnaps Gingham Dress (Php510.00 - 20% discount) and the Bella Belle Babydoll Dress (Php579.75). And guess what, because it is my first time and a new customer, I had a free Php250 voucher! Yehey! SHouting for joy. Iused that voucher to take additional discount - so instead of paying Php1,339.75, I only paid Php1,064.75. I paid the items through my paypal account (salamat talaga sa blogging!) - very convenient and hassle-free....

Ito na ang pictures! Yey! ay bali baliktad naman :(

 photo IMG-20130216-04155_zps93dbcd38.jpg

The only thing is, I need to return the Bella Belle and exchange for a smaller size. It is too big for JD parang kasya sa 5-6 years old na girl awww.

I'll post the pictures next week! (wahaha! too excited, I took photos at home ay sa boarding house then kahit na late na or 3am na, tyinaga ko pa i-update dito) I can't wait to see JD donning them, the items are of good quality.

I will surely be coming back for more online shopping at Zalora.... Ooooopppps, this is not a paid post huh, this is to express my satisfaction and happiness shopping at Zalora.

Till then,
